The "Add/Remove Programs"
icon is located in the
control panel.
It has the "Install/Uninstall", "Windows Setup", and the
"Startup Disk" Tabs.
- "Install/Unistall"
Use this tab to install new programs, and to remove programs that you dont want to use any
more.
- To install programs click the Install button and follow the instructions
- To remove programs, locate the program in the text box found in the lower part of the
screen, click on the name of the program, and click the Add/Remove button
- "Windows Setup"
This tab is used to add and delete system functions.

- "Startup Disk"
Use this tab to create a boot disk so you can use it to start the computer in case Windows
does not load.
Problems with....
The "Setup" tab
- When you click the "Windows Setup" tab, the selections are not listed.
This problem might be caused by a missing INF file. Check that the
"c:\windows\INF" folder is there and that there are files in the folder.
