Empty Cache Folders -
Empty the History and cache folders used by Internet Explorer. To do so, follow these steps:
1) Open the Internet Explorer by double clicking on the icon
The Internet Explorer Window will open.
2) Click on the View menu at the top selection bar
3) Next Click on the option from the selection popup
The View Options Window well appear.
4) Click on the Navigation Tab on the top center of the screen
The View Options Navigation Window well appear
5) Click the "Clear History" in the History area
The Internet Properties confirmation dialog box will appear
Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion of the files
Note: Special cookies that are used for login in to special sites will not be deleted, and that is good.
6) Next, click on the Advanced tab
The Options Advanced window will appear.
7) Click on the Settings button
The Settings window will appear.
Click on the "Empty Folder" button
, and then click Yes in the dialog box that appears.
After performing these steps, check to see if the issue has been resolved.
If the problem is still there then continue with the following steps.
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
Click Internet Explorer 3.0 in the list of installed programs, and then click Add/Remove.
After Internet Explorer 3.0 or 3.01 has been removed, restart the computer. When you see the "Starting Windows 95" message, press the F8 key, and then choose Command Prompt Only from the Startup menu.
Type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command.
NOTE: When you press ENTER after typing each of the following DELTREE commands, you should be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the folder. If this prompt is not displayed, the DELTREE command may have been typed incorrectly.
