LU 5 N/A LU 6 / 6.1 For Program-to-program / Peer-to-peer communications (CICS-CICS, IMS-IMS, CICS-IMS). IBM 5250 devices, and SNA Server APPC LUs LU 6.2 For Program-to-program / Peer-to-peer APPC communications and CPI-C (Common Programming Interface for Communications). A task-to-task interface using General Data Stream (GDS) LU 7 For Program-to-device 5250 data streams to Terminals on AS/400, System 36, System 38. Not used on AS/400 systems. Not supported by SNA Server.
