This is caused by the way Copernic Agent was installed. There is a point where the installation program asks if you want the program
integrated with Internet Explorer and/or Windows. If you choose to NOT
select both of these options the error occurs.
The installation program fails to indicate that one or the other, or both,
MUST be selected for proper operation
Resolution:
Re-install Copernic Agent and this time select the option to
"Integrate with Internet Explorer".
