A Answer Sends a carrier to the phone line, if a modem is
calling a connection will be established.
A/ Repeat This will repeat the last AT command typed to
the modem. This command does NOT need to start
with an "AT".
Bn ITU/BELL B0 - ITU-T V.22 @ 1200bps & V.21 @ 300bps
B1 - Bell 212A @ 1200bps & Bell 103J @ 300bps
B2 - ITU-T V.23 send @ 75bps receive @ 1200bps

Cn Carrier C0 - Transmit carrier always off

L2 - Medium speaker volume

Mn Speaker M0 - Modem speaker is always off
Control M1 - Speaker on until carrier is present
M2 - Speaker is always on
M3 - Speaker off during dialing, on until
the carrier is present.
Nn Data Rate N0 - Handshake only at DTE-to-modem data rate
Handshake N1 - Begins handshake DTE-to-modem rate, falls to
highest compatibility
On Go On-Line O0 - Returns modem to data mode
O1 - Retrains equalizer and returns to data mode
P Pulse Pulse dials, must be preceeded with ATD
Qn Results Q0 - Enables result codes
Q1 - Disabled result codes
Sn S-Register Selects an S-Register (Range: 0-37)
Sn=x Write to Writes to a S-Register (Range: n=0-37, S-Register
x=0-255)
Sn? Reads from Reads from an S-Register (Range: 0-37) S-Register
T Tone Tone dials, must be preceeded with ATD
Vn Result V0 - Numeric result codes

&J0 Auxiliary &J0 - Auxiliary relay never operated
relay &J1 - Activates auxiliary relay when modem is

&K4 - XON/XOFF software flow control
&M0 Async Mode This modem will only support Asynchronus mode.
&Pn Dial pulse &P0 - Sets 10-pps pulse dial with 39%/61% make
ratio break ratio.
&P1 - Sets 10-pps pulse dial with 33%/67% make
break ratio.
&Q0 Async Mode This modem will only support Asynchronus mode.
&Sn Data Set &S0 - DSR always active
Ready &S1 - DSR active only during handshaking when the
carrier is lost.
&Tn Self test &T0 - Terminates a test in progress
&T1 - Initiates local analog loopback
&T3 - Initiates local digital playback
&T4 - Grants RDL requests from remote modem
&T5 - Denies RDL request from remote modem
&T6 - Initiates remote digital loopback
&T7 - Starts remote digital loopback with self test
&T8 - Initiates local analog loopback with self test
&Un Trellis &U0 - Enable Trellis coding with QAM as fallback
