A Answer Sends a carrier to the phone line, if a modem is
calling a connection will be established.

A/ Repeat This will repeat the last AT command typed to 
the modem. This command does NOT need to start
with an "AT".

Bn ITU/BELL B0 - ITU-T V.22 @ 1200bps & V.21 @ 300bps
B1 - Bell 212A @ 1200bps & Bell 103J @ 300bps
B2 - ITU-T V.23 send @ 75bps receive @ 1200bps
B3 - ITU-T V.22 send @ 1200bps receive @ 75bps

Cn Carrier C0 - Transmit carrier always off
Control C1 - Normal transmit carrier

D Dial Dial modifier, usually followed with a T or P to
indicate if tone or pulse will be used to dial
and then followed by the phone # to dial. 

En Echo E0 - Disable echo in command mode
E1 - Enable echo in command mode

Fn Online F0 - Enabled online echo
Echo F1 - Disables online echo

Hn Hook H0 - Hangs up the telephone line
Control H1 - Picks up the telephone line

In Identify I0 - Reports product code
Checksum I1 - Reports modem chip firmware
Option I2 - Verifies ROM checksum
I3 - Reports chipset name
I4 - Reserved
I5 - Reserved for hardware configuration
I6 - Country code
I7 - Version of board manufacturer firmware
I8 - Features of modem firmware
I10 - Modem board configuration
I11 - Modem board configuration
I14 - SAFE (analog - digital) device
I20 - Chip manufacturer's silicon version
I21 - Chip manufacturer's firmware version
I22 - Chip manufacturer's name
I23 - Chip manufacturer's product model

Ln Volume L0 - Low speaker volume 
L1 - Low speaker volume
L2 - Medium speaker volume
L3 - High speaker volume

Mn Speaker M0 - Modem speaker is always off
Control M1 - Speaker on until carrier is present
M2 - Speaker is always on
M3 - Speaker off during dialing, on until
the carrier is present.

Nn Data Rate N0 - Handshake only at DTE-to-modem data rate
Handshake N1 - Begins handshake DTE-to-modem rate, falls to
highest compatibility

On Go On-Line O0 - Returns modem to data mode
O1 - Retrains equalizer and returns to data mode

P Pulse Pulse dials, must be preceeded with ATD

Qn Results Q0 - Enables result codes
Q1 - Disabled result codes

Sn S-Register Selects an S-Register (Range: 0-37)

Sn=x Write to Writes to a S-Register (Range: n=0-37, S-Register
x=0-255)

Sn? Reads from Reads from an S-Register (Range: 0-37) S-Register

T Tone Tone dials, must be preceeded with ATD

Vn Result V0 - Numeric result codes
format V1 - Written result codes (verbose)

Wn Reponse W0 - DTE speed response codes
code W1 - DTE speed response codes
data W2 - DCE speed response codes
rate W3 - DTE speed response codes w/error correct & data compress
W4 - Reports protocol, data compress, and DTE data rate

Xn Result X0 - Disables busy and dial tone detection
type X1 - Disables busy and dial tone detection 
X2 - Disables busy and dial tone detection
X3 - Disables busy and dial tone detection
X4 - Enables busy and dial tone detection

Yn Long space Y0 - Disables long space disconnect
disconnect Y1 - Enables long space disconnect

Zn Recall Z0 - Resets modem to stored profile 0
Profile Z1 - Resets modem to stored profile 1

&Cn Data &C0 - Ignore remote modem status, DCD always ON
carrier &C1 - DCD set according to remote modem status
detect

&Dn Data &D0 - In async mode, modem ignore DTR
terminal &D1 - Modem switches from data to command mode
ready when on-to-off transition of DTR occurs.
&D2 - When DTR switches off, modem goes on-hook
and disables auto-answer mode; when DTR
switches on, auto-answer is enabled.
&D3 - Turn off DTR re-initialize & resets values
except UART registers.

&F Factory Loads the factory settings of the modem

&Gn Guard tone &G0 - Disable guard tone
options &G1 - Enables 550-Hz guard tone
&G2 - Enables 1800-Hz guard tone

&J0 Auxiliary &J0 - Auxiliary relay never operated
relay &J1 - Activates auxiliary relay when modem is
control off the hook.

&Kn Serial flow &K0 - Disables flow control
control &K3 - Bi-directional hardware flow control
&K4 - XON/XOFF software flow control

&M0 Async Mode This modem will only support Asynchronus mode.

&Pn Dial pulse &P0 - Sets 10-pps pulse dial with 39%/61% make
ratio break ratio.
&P1 - Sets 10-pps pulse dial with 33%/67% make 
break ratio.

&Q0 Async Mode This modem will only support Asynchronus mode.

&Sn Data Set &S0 - DSR always active
Ready &S1 - DSR active only during handshaking when the
carrier is lost.

&Tn Self test &T0 - Terminates a test in progress
&T1 - Initiates local analog loopback
&T3 - Initiates local digital playback
&T4 - Grants RDL requests from remote modem
&T5 - Denies RDL request from remote modem
&T6 - Initiates remote digital loopback
&T7 - Starts remote digital loopback with self test
&T8 - Initiates local analog loopback with self test

&Un Trellis &U0 - Enable Trellis coding with QAM as fallback
Coding &U1 - QAM modulation only

&Vn View Active &V0 - View stored profile 0
and stored &V1 - View stored profile 1
profiles &V2 - View relay and general purpose I/O status

&Wn Store &W0 - Store active configuration to profile 0
profile &W1 - Store active configuration to profile 1

&Yn Select &Y0 - Recall stored profile 0 on power up
profile &Y1 - Recall stored profile 1 on power up

&Zn=x Store phone &Z0=x - Where x=telephone #, stores in slot 0
number &Z1=x - Where x=telephone #, stores in slot 1
&Z2=x - Where x=telephone #, stores in slot 2
&Z3=x - Where x=telephone #, stores in slot 3
