Will the Modem Master 510/56K support v.90, the new ITU standard 56K protocol?

Yes if you have the drivers. ( Unfortunately we do not have them available for download )

How do I install the Modem Master 510/56K in Windows 3.1?

You must have a Socket Services or Card Services installed in order to recognize PCMCIA cards such as ours.  Most notebook's come bundled with these software so please check your notebook's owner's manual.

Can I use the Modem Master 510/56K anywhere in the world?

Modem Master 510/56K is certified in U.S., Canada, and Asian countries.  European countries have different phone line standards and you risk damaging the modem if you use it in Europe.

When will the ITU 56K standard be ready?

It is scheduled to be finalized by beginning of 1998.   Software upgrade to support that standard will be ready shortly after that.

My program does not have the Modem Master 510/56K in its list of supported modems. What do I use for init string?

AT&F: Return to Factory Default Settings
ATZ: Reset the modem

You can use Generic Hayes Compatible settings on most programs including America Online.
