General Information - 

A computer design specification also known as a "ATX Form Factor". Release 2.0 of the ATX Specification came out in December 1996.

The ATX form factor is similar to the Baby-AT but has the motherboard  rotated 90 degrees. The location of the CPU was moved away from the expansion slots.

The power supply connector is also different. The older AT form factor has 2 connectors placed end to end where the newer ATX form factor uses a single connector with a double row of connections.
