CD-Disk Labeling | Tech Info Home Page |

The way labeling kits work is you buy the refills which are printable paper with adhesive on the back. You put that paper on the printer and the software prints the logo (i.e. round just like the CD) on top of the paper in precisely the right spot because the paper has a round perforation the size of the CD. Then you peel off this printed circle and using the tool they give you with the kit you apply it to the CD.

What this means is you can use any old CD and not have to buy the type that says you can print on them since the pre-printed label will be glued on top.

The type of CD's you can write on are for use with special printers which have a slot for you to put the CD into and it actually moved the print head over the CD and writes on it directly.

To find disk labeling kits go to the "CD disc Labeling Kits" page.

To find printers for printing directly on to CD disks go to the "CD disk Printers" page.
