IPSec General Info -

Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) is a standard developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) for using tunneling to create Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) which use encrypted Internet Protocol (IP) traffic to communicate between secure LAN-to-LAN connections.

It supports the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) method.

VPN tunneling connections can also be established using the L2TP and PPTP protocols.
