Review of  LIUtilities "WinTasks 4 Professional" - November 5, 2002

Two thumbs up.

We recommend this program to all IT professionals that create new software and would like to make sure they behave properly and for technicians that routinely troubleshoot software problems. 

It was installed on several Techadvice.com computers running Windows 98, NT 4 and XP. We used it to monitor processes for a period of several weeks to get an all around feeling of the program's performance and usability. In the time we have used  it, we saw no problems, errors or lockups of any type.

Program Description

The program comes packaged in a nice protective jacket with a latched CD holder so the CD does not fall out accidentally. It is refreshing to see some thought put into packaging and as you use the program you can see that attention to details was also put into the design of the program and the interface.

The program installed easily and has performed as expected with no indication of any bugs. The program's interface is clean and intuitive with a wealth of built-in functions.

This is a product that should be in every IT professional's toolbox. It is a multi-purpose tool geared towards understanding how running programs interact with the operating system, each other and their impact on performance.

It will operate with Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP
