Iomega Zip hangs in Windows 95

Solution:
Open the Control Panel,
Open the System icon
Go into 'Device Manager', expand SCSI Controllers, click on the Iomega Parallel Port Zip Interface,
click 'Properties'. In Properties select the 'Settings' tab.
Add the following in the adapter settings text box:
/MODE:NIBBLE /SPEED:1
click <OK> and you are finished

EPP

Note: EPP will not work unless the parallel port setting in BIOS (CMOS) is configured for EPP.

The options for faster transfers are:

'Nibble' (unidirectional)
Bidir (bi-directional)
Fast (for parallel ports that do not have the EPP option )
EPP (enhanced parallel ports).
