- Logitech
-
( Logitech says about their mice....
- Do not install any version of MouseWare
8.x (or earlier) into Windows 2000. It may crash your Windows 2000,
forcing you to reinstall Windows 2000.
- Furthermore, if you are using Windows
95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, or Windows NT 4.0 and you plan to upgrade
to Windows 2000 by installing over your current operating system, you
must run the MouseWare uninstaller before upgrading to Windows 2000. The
reason for this is MouseWare 8.x (and earlier), is not supported under
Windows 2000, and the uninstall for MouseWare may not run in Windows
2000.)

For problems with large Maxtor hard drives using UDMA66 (and 27GB drives
